Christopher Andrew Magas

Christopher Andrew “Andy” Magas, 61, of Wadsworth, Ohio, formally of Dixonville, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on December 4th at Altercare of Wadsworth. 

 The son of George and Lila Lee (Leadbetter) Magas, he was born March 9, 1963, in Indiana, Pennsylvania. 

 A 1981 graduate of Purchase Line High School in PA, he participated in track. He studied at the Median School of Allied Health Careers and worked for several dental labs in Ohio in addition to other companies throughout his life. 

 He is survived by his wife, Diane (Erhard) Magas of Wadsworth, OH; his granddaughter Lyla Magas; his brothers, Timothy Magas (Rhonda), Glen Campbell, Pa. and Joseph Magas (Evelyn) of Independence, OH. and several nieces and nephews and cherished friends, especially Dennis Shultz. He was proceeded in death by his son Samuel, his parents, and his brothers, Daniel Morrow and George E. Magas, Jr.

Chris or “Andy” as known by his friends will be dearly missed.  A man of strong Christian faith, he had the gift of gab and enjoyed talking with family, friends, and those he met on any given day. He relished his visits to his hometown area in PA, especially attending the annual Cookport Fair. 

 There will be no visitation or services, per Chris's request. Interment will be at a later date.
