Listen to Obituary

It is with deep and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Connie Rudowsky, a loving mother, devoted grandmother, cherished sister, and beloved daughter, who passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, in her hometown of Akron, Ohio, after a long and courageous battle with illness. She was 64 years old.

Born on May 7, 1961, Connie lived a life defined by compassion, strength, and an unwavering devotion to her family. She had a rare ability to make everyone feel seen, valued, and loved. Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and kind heart left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Connie was the proud and loving mother of Bryan Rudowsky and Nicole Rudowsky. She welcomed her daughter-in-law, Britney Rudowsky, as one of her own, embracing her with the same love and care she gave so freely to her family.

Nothing brought Connie more joy than being a grandmother. She is survived by her treasured grandchildren, Brady Rudowsky, Joel Rudowsky, Harper Rudowsky, and Colette Rudowsky, who were the true light of her life. Her love for them was endless, and her presence in their lives will forever be felt in the lessons she taught, the laughter she shared, and the memories she created.

Connie is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, Katy Cullom and Melissa Murray, who shared with her a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Webb; her father, David McIntosh; her brothers, David and John McIntosh; and her sister, Paula McQuillen. While her passing leaves an immeasurable void, Connie’s legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched with her kindness, selflessness, and unwavering love.

Connie Rudowsky will be remembered not only for the roles she held, but for the way she lived—with grace, compassion, and a heart full of love. Her memory will continue to shine through her family and all who were blessed to know her.

A celebration of Connie’s life will be held this spring, with additional details to be shared at a later date.
