Patricia Stuart

Patricia “Patti” Lynn Stuart, age 70, of Medina, OH, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, February 25, 2024 after a long and hard fought battle with illness.   

Patricia was born June 25, 1953 in Ravenna, OH to the late William and Myra (Eales) Tucker.    Patti grew up the middle child of a hard-working and artistic father and wise, devoted mother in Medina, Ohio. Early on, Patti adopted a love for music and could be caught singing with her big sister in the kitchen and harmonizing at a young age. Her baby brother, Todd, was always a constant challenge, yet best buddy. Her extended family, including many loving aunts, uncles and cousins, were integral to her life growing up and beyond. Patti was an excellent student, gifted musician and even an athlete (playing powderpuff football). She attended the Ohio State University where she majored in music, and met her husband, Joe Stuart. They married in April 1974, and after a few years of living in Florida & Georgia, they returned to settle in Ohio. Patti was a devoted homemaker, Sunday school teacher, church children’s choir director, and administrative professional. Patti was an avid Cleveland sports fan and reigning Trivial Pursuit champion. Patti’s life, relationships and actions were always influenced by her faith. Patti’s memory and legacy will be eternal. 

She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly fifty years, Joe Stuart; loving daughters Emily Stuart and Patricia Stuart-Mann and son-in-law John Mann; cherished granddaughters, Daphne, Maggie and Myra; brother Todd Tucker and sister-in-law Sheri; brother-in-law Steve Richcreek; many close and beloved nephews and nieces and lifelong best friend, Marilyn Piatt (husband Ted Piatt). She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Myra, and sister, Bobbi.   

Memorial service will be held at Creston Presbyterian Church on Saturday March 2, at 1 pm, with longtime friend and shepherd, Pastor Michael VanArsdale presiding. Fellowship and celebration of life immediately following.
